Tamper-evident security stickers can generally be divided into three types according to the tamper effect after removal: full-transfer, partial-transfer, and non-transfer.
After full-transfer or partial-transfer stickers are removed, VOID OPEN, VOID text, or tamper marks transfer onto the applied surface, while the label itself also shows a tamper-damaged effect. Even if the removed label is not kept, the remaining mark on the applied surface can serve as evidence that the item has been opened, removed, or tampered with.
Non-transfer stickers mainly show tamper damage on the label itself and do not leave VOID text or tamper marks on the applied surface. They are commonly used in applications where residue or visible marks on the surface should be avoided, such as no-photo stickers or mobile phone camera control stickers.
White materials are suitable for color printing and can be printed with brand logos, text, serial numbers, warning messages, or product information. However, full-surface background color printing is not recommended, as it may reduce the visibility of the VOID OPEN text or tamper marks. To balance brand visuals and tamper-evident readability, partial printing or designs with sufficient blank space are recommended.
